User Case: Synergy across Evernote and Google Drive?

I recently canceled my subscription (reverting to the free plan), and had not yet looked back at my EN notes. Today, I wanted to access the web version (which is counted as a 'device' under the free plan), and I got prompted to disconnect devices ("Limit reached") or upgrade. My desktop PC was the only (!) other device connected to my account. I could not access my notes until I disconnected the PC client. Does this mean the free plan now only allows for one device (instead of two, as before)?

- Question from Reddit

Does Evernote Sync Across Devices?

Does Evernote sync between devices? The answer is yes. Evernote automatically saves and syncs your notes across all connected devices. As long as you sign in with the same account, all notes and settings on the account will be synced on different devices. This is extremely useful and practical when you log in to your Evernote from a different device.

If you find notes are not synced on your new device, how to sync your notes across devices easily? Simply make a last sync by heading to App Settings > Sync. This makes it easy to transfer Evernote to a new phone. However, sometimes you might encounter an issue like User Case. In this situation, you can follow the next section to learn the solution.

What If Evernote Doesn’t Sync across Devices

If you have a free plan on Evernote, you can only connect up to 1 device. If you are a paid user and find your notes are not synced between devices, check the solutions below:

Way 1: Check Your Internet Connection

A good and stable connection is of greate importance during the sycning process. You can restart your router and test the speed.

Way 2: Restart Your Devices

No matter whether you are using an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, restarting your device can solve app glitches easily.

Way 3: Check Updates

The latest version of Evernote can fix some errors and bugs in old versions. So, make sure your app version is the newest one.

Way 4: Quit Your Accounts and Log in Again

Another way to solve this problem is to quit your account. Then sign in again. This can help solve data stuck on devices.

Note: It is highly recommended to back up your notes regualrly. This way, you don't need to worry about data loss anymore. Meanwhile, you can access backup easily when needed.
