Hey, hope you're all doing awesome! Quick question – How do I turn off iCloud Photo Sharing? I've got an iPhone 14 and I've been sharing photos through iCloud Photo Sharing, but I want to take a break from it. Any idea how to turn off iCloud Photo Sharing between devices and iCloud users? Don't wanna mess up my pics, you know? Thanks in advance!

With three years of experience, he is dedicated to solving various issues related to cloud storage. His expertise extends to troubleshooting common problems, enhancing productivity, and providing detailed guides and tips for users to make the most out of their cloud storage options.

No worries, I've got you covered. Turning off iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone 14 is a piece of cake. Here's how to stop iCloud Photo Sharing:

  1. Open Settings: Tap on the "Settings" app on your iPhone's home screen.
  2. Your Name: Scroll down and tap on your Apple ID name at the top.
  3. iCloud: Now, select "iCloud" from the list.
  4. Photos: Scroll down to find "Photos" and tap on it.
  5. iCloud Photos: Here, toggle off the switch next to iCloud Photos. This will disable iCloud Photo Sharing and remove shared albums.

Keep in mind:

  • Your shared albums will be removed from other people's devices if you're the owner.
  • If you're part of shared albums created by others, leaving those albums will stop the sharing, but you won't lose the photos.

That's it! Your pics won't be shared through iCloud anymore. If you change your mind later, you can always toggle it back on. Besides, if you want to share your iCloud photos with users from other cloud storage services, here’s a wonderful cloud file manager, MultCloud, that can help you securely share cloud files with others.

After signing up MultCloud, you can take the following steps:

Step 1. Add your iCloud Photos to MultCloud by clicking “Add Cloud”.

Step 2. Select photos and videos that you want to share from iCloud. Then click “Share” in the feature bar.

Step 3. Choose a sharing option and click “Create Share”. Here I suggest you try the “Private Share” mode to protect your shared photos with passwords. Now just send the sharing link with the password to your recipients.
