MultCloud makes cross-cloud transfer convenient and easy, but there are some limitations you should notice for transferring folders/files accurately. For example, you'd better not contain any special characters in your names of folders/files like \ / * : ? < > | " ~ $ , and you should know the size limit of each cloud drive. Particularly you may notice that there are some office file conversion when transferring with Google Drive and there is a request limit in OneDrive. More details please check out as following information.

Tip

In most cloud drives, a folder/file name can't contain any of the following characters: \ / * : ? < > | "

Dropbox

1. In Dropbox, a folder/file name can't start with any of the following characters: ~ $

2. The file/folder name does not support the following specific characters: \ / : ? * " |

Google Drive/Google Drive of G Suite

1. The Document, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Drawing and Script files will be converted to the corresponding files with the extensions: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .jpeg and .json when transffering them from Google Drive to other cloud drives.

2. It will fail to transfer the files with the same names in a same directory from Google Drive to other cloud drives.

3. For Google Drive, you should notice that there are some folders/files with special characters in their names which you may fail to transfer from Google Drive to other cloud drives.

OneDrive

1. You can only make a given number of requests(2000~3000) to OneDrive every day per user, or you will recieve the error: request throttled mechanism.

2. It does not support file/folder start with "."

3. The file/folder name does not support the following specific characters: \ / : ? * " |

OneDrive for Business

The file/folder name does not support the following specific characters: \ # % * : < > ? / \\ |

Box

1. Box free accounts can upload 250MB files.

2. Developer accounts can upload 2GB files.

Amazon S3

For Amazon S3, you should notice that there are some folders/files with special characters in their names which you may fail to transfer from Amazon S3 to other cloud drives.

Sugarsync

1. In SugarSync, Some directories is read-only, so you can't transmit files to them which are Public files and Shared folders.

2. You cannot create folders or upload files under the root directories in SugarSync.

3. You can not create or upload files under the "Received Shares" and "Public Links" directories.

Evernote

1. Can only upload less than 50MB file to the note.

2. Cannot rename or delete the notes content files(.ENML).

3. Can only copy the notes to notebook.

4. It does not support tag.

5. The root directories and second-level directories do not support upload file, but you can create folders.

6. Different Evernote account has different upload data traffic.

hubiC

1. In hubiC, the size of a single file can't be greater than 5GB for transferring.

2. The size of files are different for different users.

3. A hubiC account can only add one time.

4. You cannot rename and cut files or folders.

5. It may be a little slow to delete folders with many files.

6. File names can't exceed 248 characters and folder names are limited to 256 characters.

ADrive

1. The Premium/Business account of Adrive can use FTP, SFTP, SCP, Rsync, or Java("upload directory") to upload single file up to 16GB.

2. The normal accounts of Adrive are limited to single file up to 2GB.

3. It supports to add Adrive to MultCloud by the way of FTP and WebDav.

FTP/FTPS/SFTP

1. In FTP/FTPS/SFTP, you can't upload files to the directories which need corresponding permission.

2. Please make sure that you have read/write permissions before file operations, otherwise, MultCloud may be unable to transfer files into your FTP.

3. Please make sure that there is enough space for your operations. We are temporarily unable to identify its size.

Baidu

1. The file/folder name does not support the following specific characters: \ # % * : < > ? / \ |

2. Baidu only open read/write permissions for "lin1118" folder which under "my application data" folder.

3. MultCloud cannot do any operation to the Picture, Document, Video and Music directories, it can only preview the files in the four directories.

MediaFire

1. MediaFire does not support the empty file upload and download.

2. The files with same contents cannot be existing in the same time.

3. If the folder there are a lot of files that need to spend a lot of time to open it.

Flickr

1. You can only transfer pictures or videos to Flickr.

2. Folders can only be transferred to "Albums" directory and cannot have subdirectories.

3. Files can only be transferred to "My Photostream" or Album directory you created yourself.

4. All your files can be found in "My Photostream" directory.

5. The Album All files are referenced "My Photostream" files in the directory.

6. When you delete a file from the Album, in fact, you just remove the file.

7. When you delete file in "My Photostream", Album directory corresponding file will be deleted.

8. Album directory must have at least one file.

9. When an album is created, a recently operated picture will be added to it by default.

10. In the whole key, the query number must less than 3600.

11. The files uploaded or Downloaded from Flickr official website cannot show up its suffix name. But the files download from MultCloud can add corresponding suffix name manually.

CloudMe

1. Please make sure that you have read/write permissions before file operations, otherwise, MultCloud may be unable to transfer files into your CloudMe.

2. Please make sure that there is enough space for your operations. We are temporarily unable to identify its size.

3. The free CloudMe account's storage space is 3GB. The size of upload file is 150MB.

4. The premium account has storage space up to 5TB. The size of upload file is 2GB.

HiDrive

1. Please make sure that you have read/write permissions before file operations, otherwise, MultCloud may be unable to transfer files to your HiDrive.

2. We are temporarily unable to identify its size.
