“I have two Google Drive accounts. One is a school account and another one is my person account. As the school account is about to close now, I have to move all data from my school account to my personal account at the end of this month. Can I transfer data from one Google Drive to another directly without downloading and uploading”?

We all know Google Drive is a very popular cloud storage tool in the world favored by us because it starts with 15 GB free space which is very attractive. In addition to the free space, it has many powerful functions, including two-factor authentication to secure your account, smart Google search to search files or folder you need, etc. But, Google hasn’t yet given us an easy way to transfer all Google files from one Google Drive account to another at once. So there comes a question on how to transfer all files from One Google Drive to another directly?

Traditional Way: Use “Share” feature provided by Google Drive

Step 1. Log in your school account. Step 2. Select all files under this account, click “Share” icon.

Step 3. Invite your personal account as the receiver. Click on “Advanced”. Under Sharing settings, change the permission to “Is owner” and click the “Send” button to wait for the process to complete.

Step 4. Log in your personal account, and you will find these files under “My Drive”.

Note: After selecting “Is owner”, the ownership will be transferred to your personal account. You cannot change the share settings anymore.

Following this situation, you can easily copy between Google Drive accounts but this method is for Google document only. If you have many other files, then it cannot meet your demand. So is there any way that can directly transfer from Google Drive to another?

New Way: How to Transfer Google Drive to Another Account with MultCloud?

• If you want to know the result of your transfer task, you can enable “Email Notification” under “Options”.
