In this tutorial, we will show you how to search the specified files or folders across cloud services with the quick search bar in MultCloud. By entering the key word into the quick search bar, MultCloud will instantly locate the related files from all the cloud drives.
There is a quick search bar in MultCloud’s interface that helps the users to instantly locate a certain file among multiple cloud drives. Once a keyword is entered, MultCloud will immediately filter the related files throughout all the cloud drives. In this way, all the different cloud drives can be seen as a whole one.
Step 1: Log in MultCloud. First you should ensure that you have MultCloud account and have already added cloud drive(s) in MultCloud.
Step 2: After clicking the quick search bar on the right top of MultCloud interface. You will see the following layout. Click the drop-down symbol, there will be two search types: High Speed Search and Normal Search. Some clouds provide a quick search function. You will see these clouds by clicking on the High Speed Search, and it will take less time. Other clouds will also provide a general search function. You can find it through Normal Search, but it will take more time.
Step 3: If you select High Speed Search method, we take “my” as an example, then click the “Search” button. The searching process will be started.
Get the result--files and folders that contain the keyword “my”. MultCloud also will show you their name, size, modified date and location.
If you use the Normal Search method, you can add more cloud drives on search. We set “test” as the keyword, then click “Search” button to start searching.
Get the result--files and folders that contain the keyword “test”. MultCloud also will show you their name, size, modified date and location.
Tips:
The High Speed Search and Normal Search functions also supports entering the suffix as a keyword. Thus will help you find all the same type files easily.
