August 19, 2024

When you add Onedrive for Business to MultCloud and transfer the user folders, you get the "Access Denied" error.  Or, you get the "Access Denied" when you open the user folders under MultCloud. Like this:

You need first to assign Microsoft 365 licenses to users and create file Link in OneDrive for every user.

Please follow the steps below to create file link:

Step 1: Check Active Users and Manage Product Licenses

  1. Go to the Admin center.
  2. Select Users > Active Users tab.
  3. Choose the Manage Product Licenses option.

Step 2: Create File Link in OneDrive

  1. Navigate to the OneDrive tab.
  2. Click on Create Link to files.
  3. Return to MultCloud and attempt to access the account again.

Once the setup is successful, you should be able to access the user folders of OneDrive for Business via MultCloud. And, please rerun the related task.

Quickly transfer, sync or backup files from one cloud to another.
